Journey

Welcome to Southern Vietnam...
The ultimate journey of exploration, along the lower Mekong, is to cruise from Saigon Port through the waterways of the famous Mekong Delta and then head north into Cambodian waters. By combining shipboard life, in elegant French colonial luxury, with discreet and fascinating shore excursions, this is the most intimate way to be ‘up close and personal’ with the people and culture of Southern Vietnam.Feed your senses. Savour the extraordinary sights, sounds, smells and tastes of remote location river cruise life. This is also a journey of sensory awareness and personal enlightenment.

Welcome to Cambodia
Equally as exotic and by comparison to Vietnam, the plains of Cambodia open before you as we cruise upstream towards the nation’s capital of Phnom Penh. Along the riverbanks the oxen-carts plough their way along a narrow path, working the land, forever contributing to the cooperative, subsistence way of Life that is Cambodia today and yesteryear.

There can be no tapestry of river life as fascinating and varied as the Mekong River. Indeed there can be no more striking a cultural contrast as that between the bustling Mekong Delta and the tranquility of Cambodia. We pass from the vibrant French colonial port of Saigon, through the vast delta, so rich in human life and endeavour, to travel along the main channel into the rich countryside of Cambodia.
